She died on 5/10/1900 in Stirling Street Perth; story in the West Australian on 5/10/1901; written by husband and daughters Elizabeth, Mary and Maria; He died in 1918.

She married expiree Edward O'Dea on 25/9/1859 in Toodyay. They had 10 children. Children: Mary Ann (1860-1936), Patrick Michael (1862-1927), Michael (1864-1943), Edward (1865-1942), Thomas (1867-1931), John (1869), Eliza (1871), James (1873), William (1873), Margaret (1876) and Anne (1878) Died on 13/4/1921 in Northam (aged 85).
Catherine Kensley 1826 (?) James and Elizabeth Shanghai (November 1856) Married ex-soldier (redcoat) Denis Brennan in Perth, 20/11/1856. They had 7 children: Margarita (1857), James (1859), William (1861), Mary Ann (1863), John Edward (1865), Denis (1867), and George (1869). All born in Perth. Brennan was a policeman in Champions Bay (1860), then a storekeeper in Perth (1864), with a shop on the corner of Pier and Goderich Street; he then went on to be a grocer and draper (1866), and importer (1873). He died in June 1884. She died on 9/6/1896 in Perth (Roe Street), with an article appearing in the West Australian on the 25th of that month. She was aged about 70, and was widowed by that time.

They had 9 children: Patrick James, Mary Ellen, Ann, Dennis William, Catherine, Ambrose James, Patrick John, Louis Sylvester, and Florence. Her husband was in the 15th regiment, and had served in Canada and Ceylon, He was born c. 1815 in Dungwen Newtown Lamavady (Derry) in Ireland. She died on 28/11/1910 Fremantle (buried in RC section of the Fremantle cemetery); her husband had died in 1880.
Maria Kilmartin 1825 Berkshire (March 1855) Married Richard Trayhorne in Perth, 3/6/1858. Her husband Richard died 15/12/1871 after a short illness (aged 67), leaving her destitute. She applied for Government Assistance on numerous occasions, and was recommended for the Poorhouse in 1875. Died in Perth, 1899, aged about 87

Emigrated from Kilmore; he was a farm labourer in Upper Swan, Toodyay and 167b Roe Street, Perth. Died 21/6/1898 in Perth Public Hospital and was buried in East Perth Cemetery.

They had 3 children: John Patrick Lewis (1858-?), Julia Mary Lewis (1862-?) and Maria Elizabeth (Lewis) Moriarty (1866-1945). She remarried Francis Best in Bridgetown, 18/5/1878 Died in Bridgetown on 15/7/1904 (aged about 73)
Bridget Landy 1850 Richard and Margaret RC Strathmore (January 1869) She married expiree James Austin McDermott (1/4/1872), and they had 2 children: John (1873, Toodyay) and Mary Ann (1875, Northampton, died at 2 months). Married Joseph Lovatt on 17/10/1880 in Northampton; children: Elizabeth Veronica and Josephine Mary. Her first husband McDermott was a carpenter, boatman, miner, sawyer, and teamster. In 1876, it was rumoured that Bridget was already living with Lovatt, and in April that year, McDermott was accused of assault after a fight broke out with her over this.

Left Denis mid-1887, as he was experiencing mental health problems and later committed suicide; covered in the Inquirer and Commercial News 28/9/1887; she emigrated from Ardoughter; they farmed at Ludlow. Died 1911.
Mary Leonard 1839 Strathmore (January 1869) Married expiree Philip Wall, 1/1/1870 in Geraldton (Wesly). He had a wife and child in the UK. He and Mary had 3 children: Henry (born and died 1871, Greenough), Hannah (born 1874, Dongara, died at 6 months), and Helena (born and died 1877, Dongara). Philip Wall worked as a carpenter in Irwin (1870s); he was admitted to Mt Elize invalid depot with bad eyes (1888) and his wife applied for relief funds. He died in Perth Old Men’s Home in 1904.

Sarah Maguire 1845 John and Rani Maguire Strathmore (June 1864) Married expiree Alexander Wilson (26/10/1864) in Perth; he had arrived on the William Hammond (March 1856); they had 8 children: Augustus Lyons Wilson, Theodore, Alexander, Thomas, Louisa, Augustine, Roderick. Sarah and Alex lived on Barrack Street in the 1860s, where they owned a furniture factory. He made the furniture and she did the upholstery. He was given 6 months hard labor in November 1883 for assaulting her. Died on 13/8/1928, aged 83 years, and there was a notice of her death the following day in the West Australian.

Mary McBride, McBryde 1836 Dublin Berkshire (March 1855) Married widower John Allison in Bunbury, 28/11/1856. They had one child: Ellen (1857, Picton, Bunbury). John Allison had been a member of the 21st Regiment (the 21st (Royal North British Fuzileers), and had arrived in WA in September 1833. He married Esther Price in 1855 (Bunbury), and they had one child, Esther (born 1856). He died in August 1875.

They had 8 children: Sarah Ellen, Elijah Richard, Robert Saunders, Mary Saunders, Luke Saunders, John John Saunders, Martha Saunders, Elizabeth "Von". She was a laundry maid, and her husband was a Parkhurst boy. He became a farmer in the Nelson district by 1867, and worked as a teamster with his sons. The family took over the Exchange hotel in Katanning. She died on 12/10/ 1925 in Katanning and is buried in the town's cemetery in the Catholic section. A notice appeared in the Southern Districts Advocate (Kattanning) on the day of her death. Her husband had died in 1918.

Catherine McGough 1840 Michael and Jane Strathmore (1864) Married (in 1866) expiree John Maher (arrived Phoebe Dunbar, 1853). Children: Margaret Maher Searle (1867-1949), John Maher (1869–1942), Ann Maher Holland (1872–1937), Ellen Teresa Maher Inge (1874–1971), Michael Patrick Maher (1879–1966). Catherine's father had already been transported to WA, and she was sent out after him. Her husband John was possibly first married to an Aboriginal woman named Kitty, and had a son who later lived in New Norcia. She died on 5/8/1925 (aged 86–87) in Wagin, and was buried in Wagin Cemetery.

He arrived on 16/9/1881 on the Charlotte Padbury from London. Married Margaret on 13/8/1884 in C/E Perth. Children all baptised at RC Perth: Sarah Anne (1885) Prately was nominated by Padbury. Carter and bus proprietor, based in Perth.

Allen died in a wagon accident near Narrogin on 22/3/1882. Allen had also begun a relationship in 1857 with Ann Eliza Baliff, with whom he had children.

Went to Adelaide; was witness (with Thomas Pennyfather, who married Eliza Mara) to marriage of Mary/Marian O'Brien to William Shearn in Perth, 26/3/1853). Died in 1892 in Adelaide.

Thomas was a sawyer at Toodyay and a farmer at York, Toodyay and Narrogin; he died in 1883 in an accident with a horse and dray. Died at her residence 'Mackie Bridge' at the age of 49 (carcoma of the stomach), 21/6/1882; notice in the eastern Districts Chronicle, 7/7/1882.

Biddy Molony c.1831 John and Anna nee Scott of Limerick RC Travancore Married Thomas Pursell in Fremantle, 8/9/1853 RC; 5 children including 2 sets of twins. Lived in Fremantle; Thomas was possibly a police constable in Fremantle and geraldton.
Mary Mooney 1838 or 1841 Laurence (late of the 21st Royal Scots Fusiliers) and Alice RC Burlington (April 1863) Married enrolled pensioner guard Daniel O'Connell on 11/6/1863 (Albany). They had 7 children: John, Mary Elizabeth, Daniel Frank, Joseph James, Thomas Daniel, Anne Agnes, and Frances Theresa. From 1865, Daniel O'Connell was a police officer stationed in Albany, Gordon River, Fremantle, Greenough, Williams, York, Roebourne, Coolgardie and Northam. Mary was a postmistress at Gordon River (the Perth-Albany Road). She died on 14/6/1909 in Perth and is buried in the RC section of Karrakatta cemetery. (Daniel died in Perth in November 1922 and is buried in the same cemetery.)
Rose, Rosa Moore 1830 Dublin William (a victualler) and Mary RC Sabrina (June 1853) She married expiree William Joseph Evans on 10/12/1855 (RC rites), and they had a daughter, Alice Mary Evans (Goddin), born 1863. Her husband was a shepherd (1860s) at 'Kendenup' in Plantagenet District for Hassell and at 'Yerriminup' at Frankland River, before becoming a small farmer. Rosa died on 22/7/1894 (aged 64–65) at Frankland, Cranbrook Shire, and was buried at Lake Poorrarecup (headstone). Her husband had died in 1893 in the same location.

Listed by Salvado in 1854, Bunbury; lived in Bunbury and Quindalup; James was a schoolteacher in Bunbury 1853-1861, then a clerk 1861-c. 1870 in Quindalup, and a publican in Bunbury 1886-1890; she was a boarding house proprietress in Bunbury 'Beach House' She died 3/4/1907 at the 'Beach House'; article in the Southern Times, 6/4/1907.
