She married free man Andrew Stewart on 26/9/1869 in Fremantle RC. He was a seaman and policeman in Busselton, and part owner of ship, the 'Belle of Bunbury'. They had 6 children: Andrew John, Mary Jane, James Francis, Daniel, Margaret and Catherine Maria

Death
She died on 25/4/1885 at about age 37 in Bunbury, of heart disease. Notice in the ‘Our Bunbury Letter’ in the West Australian (1885, May 2), noting the sudden nature of her death. Andrew Stewart had died of a similar complaint on 9/1/1882, also aged 3
