She married Edward Gardiner in Bunbury (23/4/1855), and they had 11 children: Jane, Elizabeth, William, Bethia, Fanny, Owen John, Ellen Eliza, Jesse, Sophia, Sarah and Henry.

After her death in 1892, Edward Gardiner remarried to Ann Trigwell (1899, Donnybrook), and he died on 21/9/1916, also in Dardanup, and he is buried in the same cemetery.
Death
Margaret died in Dardanup on 8/11/1892, and there was a notice in the Southern Times newspaper about it (12/11/1892). She was buried in Saint Aiden's cemetery.
