Married Frederick Walter Gee, 13/4/1857 in New Norcia. They had 4 children (Charles, Alfred, Hannah, Arthur) and lived in Camden Harbour, where Walter was a policeman. He died after being speared by some Aboriginal people.

Worked as a domestic servant at Glentromie (Victoria Plains). Mary Ann gave birth to a daughter of the same name shortly after her first husband died. She remarried, to John James McKenna (19/12/1867) and had 3 children: Elizabeth, John and Helen.
Death
She died 1883 and was buried in the Skinner St Cemetery, Fremantle.
