She married enrolled pensioner guard James McEntee (of Monaghan), presumably in Ireland. They had 10 children: John, Patrick Joseph, James, John Francis, James Stephen, Bernard/Barnard Edward, Annie Gertrude, Charles, Paul and Theodore.

The family moved to South Australia on an unknown ship prior to 1866. James McEntee died on 28/9/1888 in Port Pirie, South Australia (suicide by drowning, buried in the town cemetery).
Death
She died on 26/12/1905 in Glenelg South Australia (residence Port Pirie), and was buried at West Terrace Cemetery Adelaide.
