From 1865, Daniel O'Connell was a police officer stationed in Albany, Gordon River, Fremantle, Greenough, Williams, York, Roebourne, Coolgardie and Northam. Mary was a postmistress at Gordon River (the Perth-Albany Road).
Death
She died on 14/6/1909 in Perth and is buried in the RC section of Karrakatta cemetery. (Daniel died in Perth in November 1922 and is buried in the same cemetery.)
