She married expiree Richard Ives in 1855 in Guildford, and they had 6 children: Edward Patrick, James Richard, Frederick George, Harriet, Mary Ann and Eliza.

Richard Ives lived in Fremantle and worked as a confectioner/baker, but the family also moved to South Australia and lived there for 30 years.
Death
She died in Fremantle in 1912, aged about 82. Her husband had already died in NSW (Broken Hill) in 1898.
