Married Edward Smyth, possibly an expiree, who was a farmer in Dongara (1870s) and lighthouse keeper (1876). They had 3 children: Edward Bolton Smyth (1873-1950), Henrietta Ann Smyth Mcintyre (1874-1951), and Richard Smythe (1876–1877).

Bridget may have separated from Edward c 1884 and was possibly working as a cook at White Peak Station, Northampton WA. He died in Dongara in January 1886.
